About the Role
Scruples Resources, a premier provider of consultancy, resource development, and human resource solutions for the Nigerian economy, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Specialist Services. In this pivotal role, you will provide senior operational support across production, processing, maintenance, and drilling activities, ensuring all processes align with regulatory standards and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Review daily operational reports, production data, equipment status, and work schedules to maintain facility availability.
- Coordinate activities across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE, and Logistics to optimize performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), JSA, LOTO, SIMOPS, and other control-of-work requirements.
- Support operational planning, work coordination, shutdowns, turnarounds, start-ups, and commissioning activities.
- Participate in root-cause investigations, equipment troubleshooting, and risk assessments to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Monitor contractor and service-provider performance within assigned operational areas.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior operations personnel and contractors.
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Process Technology, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in oil and gas operations, covering production, processing, drilling, terminals, pipelines, or offshore facilities.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, operating procedures, process data, and technical reports.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HSE policies, risk assessment, operational integrity, and emergency response.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
