About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Planning and Control Lead to join our headquarters in Lagos. In this vital leadership role, you will direct project planning, controls, resource coordination, mobilisation governance, and operational reporting across our diverse portfolio. You will act as the central governance bridge between commercial, technical, and project delivery teams to ensure optimal resource utilisation, seamless project execution, and heightened operational performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Operations Planning and Controls function to ensure efficient delivery of planning, project controls, mobilisation, reporting, and governance across all operations.
- Direct workforce planning, capacity management, and resource allocation to optimize the use of personnel, equipment, and assets.
- Oversee project scheduling, monitoring, and controls to guarantee execution aligns with established timelines, budgets, and operational goals.
- Manage end-to-end mobilisation, demobilisation, logistics, contractor coordination, and operational readiness activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and global Original Equipment Manufacturers to ensure seamless operational support and service delivery.
- Establish robust performance management frameworks, including KPI tracking, forecasting, and executive dashboard reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement through project close-outs, documentation management, and actionable lessons-learned sessions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in project planning, project controls, PMO, or operations management within the energy, oil and gas, or industrial sectors.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a people management or team leadership capacity.
- Expertise in project scheduling tools, resource management methodologies, and operational governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to develop operational dashboards and deliver insightful management reports to executive leadership.
