About the Role
Westfield Consulting is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our oil waste management division. In this critical role, you will oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensuring strict compliance with Nigerian environmental regulations, industry standards, and international best practices. You will coordinate complex projects spanning petroleum product recovery, industrial waste disposal, haulage, and marine services while driving efficiency, safety, and sustainable business growth for our esteemed clients in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end operations of oil waste management projects, ensuring optimal efficiency, stringent safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure full adherence to environmental laws, regulatory guidelines, and international best practices across all operational touchpoints.
- Supervise, mentor, and lead operational staff, engineers, drivers, and marine crew to consistently achieve high-performance targets.
- Oversee logistics, haulage, and marine waste management operations, including offshore waste collection and environmental spill response.
- Provide technical expertise on pollution control strategies, environmental impact assessments, and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage budgets, control operational expenditures, and cultivate strong stakeholder relationships with government agencies and corporate clients.
- Bachelor degree in Environmental Sciences, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10 to 12 years of demonstrable experience in oil and gas operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pollution control, waste treatment technologies, and maritime operational logistics.
- Possession of a Master degree or relevant professional certifications such as NEBOSH or ISO 14001 is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional strategic planning, analytical problem-solving, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
- Competitive net monthly salary ranging from N1,200,000 to N1,500,000, negotiable upward based on exceptional candidate experience.
