About the Role
Pivotage Consulting is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager on behalf of our client, a leading Manufacturing and FMCG company in Nigeria. We are seeking a dynamic professional to support the coordination of manufacturing operations, plant readiness, and end-to-end project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the seamless transition from project execution phase to full-scale plant operations.
- Support comprehensive plant readiness across production, maintenance, HSE, quality assurance, and staffing functions.
- Manage relationships and coordinate effectively with OEMs, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Track engineering, procurement, equipment installation, and critical project milestones.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, and critical spares.
- Develop and maintain operational and project trackers, comprehensive reports, KPIs, and actionable plans.
- Support the development, documentation, and implementation of SOPs, standard processes, and robust operational systems.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Legal, Engineering, HSE, and Procurement teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 7 to 12 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing operations, plant operations, or engineering project execution.
- Demonstrated expertise within the Manufacturing, FMCG, or Agro-processing industries is highly preferred.
- Strong project execution, stakeholder management, coordination, and negotiation capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage contractors, OEMs, vendors, and diverse cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
