About the Role
The Borough Lagos is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager for Youtopia Beauty to oversee our day-to-day business functions. In this vital role, you will ensure seamless coordination across retail operations, inventory management, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and customer experience while working closely with the Managing Director to execute strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily business operations ensuring efficiency across retail, warehouse, and administrative functions.
- Manage end-to-end inventory control, stock levels, regular counts, and discrepancy investigations.
- Coordinate procurement, supplier relationships, and timely product replenishment.
- Supervise order fulfillment, logistics, and delivery processes for accurate customer service.
- Develop and implement operational policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and manage operations and retail teams to foster high performance.
- Prepare comprehensive operational, inventory, and performance reports for leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and customer service departments.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities, cost savings, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health standards, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in operations management within beauty, retail, fashion, cosmetics, or FMCG.
- Strong expertise in inventory systems, supply chain logistics, and retail procurement.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory management or ERP systems.
