About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee our daily business activities and drive operational excellence, efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be instrumental in scaling our operational capabilities within the Nigerian market, ensuring that all projects and contracts are delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily business and operational activities across multiple departments.
- Develop and implement robust strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure effective execution and timely delivery of complex projects and contracts.
- Lead operations, technical, procurement, logistics, and support functions.
- Monitor operational performance, budgets, costs, and key performance indicators.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE, quality, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operational teams.
- Identify operational risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Support senior management in business growth and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate/professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with substantial senior operational management experience.
- Proven expertise in managing oil and gas servicing operations, projects, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of HSE, quality management, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency, control operational costs, and deliver projects successfully.
