About the Role
Mariston Hotel & Suites is a premier, upscale hospitality establishment strategically positioned along Adeolu Williams Avenue, NTA Road in Oba-Ile, Akure North, Ondo State. Operating under the banner of Hospitality At Its Finest, we cater to corporate executives and discerning leisure travelers. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day hotel operations, elevate guest satisfaction, and drive overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Monitor service standards to ensure an exceptional guest experience aligned with the Mariston brand promise.
- Manage operational budgets, control costs, and implement strategies to maximize hotel profitability and revenue generation.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate hotel staff to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and security regulations across the property.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and escalations promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction ratings.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and drive occupancy rates.
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven managerial experience in a reputable hotel or upscale hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for operational detail.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite.
