About the Role
Emmanuel Bakeries Limited, a leading FMCG and non-consumable products distributor in Kogi State with over 11 years of industry excellence, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our extensive distribution network, optimize daily operational workflows, and ensure seamless coordination between sales, logistics, and inventory teams to support our rapid business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operational activities across assigned locations and ensure efficient coordination of sales, distribution, and logistics functions.
- Develop and implement robust processes that improve overall operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high service quality.
- Monitor departmental performance against operational targets, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective corrective measures.
- Supervise inventory movement, ensure strict stock accountability, and guarantee timely product distribution to customers and sales teams.
- Coordinate with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Sales departments to achieve corporate objectives.
- Monitor the utilization and maintenance of company vehicles and operational assets.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and operating procedures.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor operational teams to foster high performance and accountability.
- Prepare comprehensive operational performance reports and provide strategic recommendations to Management.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- A Master degree or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Proven professional experience in operations management, preferably within the FMCG, distribution, logistics, or retail sector in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated strength in leadership, multi-location management, and organizational oversight.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and performance management abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems.
