We are looking for a hands-on, highly organized Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Lagos. This vital role is not a desk-bound position; we need a practical, solution-driven professional who understands construction sites, vehicular logistics, vendor management, and the daily realities of keeping a high-end real estate development business running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations across corporate offices, construction sites, and warehouses.
- Manage fleet operations, ensuring all company vehicles maintain valid documentation, proper maintenance, and accurate logbooks.
- Coordinate the inter-site movement of construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Supervise logistics personnel, drivers, and other operational support staff.
- Provide critical operational and logistics support to procurement and project site teams.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical, prompt solutions to remove productivity bottlenecks.
- Ensure strict adherence to company operational policies, asset tracking, and safety procedures across all locations.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant operational experience, with a mandatory background in the real estate development or construction industry.
- Demonstrated practical expertise in managing site logistics, vehicular fleets, and general business operations within Lagos.
- Strong command of local Lagos logistics, route planning, and construction-site operational dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and operational reporting tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple urgent requests simultaneously.
