About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee our waste collection, recycling, and processing operations across multiple facilities in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing vital resources, optimizing supply chain logistics, and ensuring that all processing targets are successfully met while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations across all facilities to ensure production and operational targets are consistently met.
- Coordinate material inflow, inventory management, and seamless stock transfers to the Ilupeju processing plant.
- Monitor grinding operations, equipment performance, and schedule proactive maintenance activities.
- Manage diesel consumption, power generators, and overall operational costs to maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation networks for timely movement of materials.
- Ensure accurate stock reconciliation, documentation, and comprehensive operational reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive operational budgets and closely monitor departmental expenditure.
- Lead, mentor, coach, and supervise diverse operational teams to foster a culture of high performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and company policies.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in operations management within manufacturing, recycling, waste management, or plastics industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, cost control, and logistics coordination.
