About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of technical staffing, inspection, and procurement services to the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dedicated Operations Maintenance Systems Specialist I to ensure that equipment, spare parts, and contract administration processes comply with regulatory standards and support planned maintenance objectives. In this role, you will leverage computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP or IPES to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to sustained operational reliability while ensuring strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like SAP or IPES to enter, extract data, order materials, and manage inventory files.
- Act as a key liaison between Field Maintenance Units and Procurement to coordinate contract renewals, awards, resolutions, and vendor availability.
- Assist in developing contract work scopes, performing technical pre-qualifications, and conducting supplier assessments.
- Process invoices, document transactions, coordinate payments, and maintain central contract files.
- Maintain proactive communication and interfaces with operations, maintenance, and logistics departments.
- Relevant professional experience in maintenance systems, materials management, or contract administration within the oil and gas industry.
- Discipline-appropriate certification(s) or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong functional knowledge of SSHE management, maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS platforms.
- Demonstrated behavioral skills including analytical capability, collaboration, effective communication, and sound decision-making.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities while maintaining high accuracy.
