We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Intern to join our vibrant team and gain hands-on experience in modern manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the operations team in monitoring daily factory and production activities to ensure seamless workflow.
- Assist in tracking production jobs, following up on pending tasks, and meeting strict delivery deadlines.
- Monitor the availability and movement of raw materials, tools, and other essential production items.
- Collaborate with the stores team to maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
- Facilitate smooth communication and coordination between Production, Stores, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
- Identify and report production delays, material shortages, and equipment issues to management promptly.
- Assist in monitoring finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for delivery.
- Maintain accurate operational records, daily trackers, and progress reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with factory processes, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.
- Currently pursuing an HND or Bachelor’s degree, completing an Industrial Training (IT), SIWES, or a one-year internship program, or recently graduated in Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and prepare simple reports.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work effectively in a fast-paced factory environment.
- Monthly stipend of N100,000.
- Hands-on experience in furniture manufacturing, production planning, and inventory management.
