About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a renowned leader in the beverage and fast-moving consumer goods sector in Nigeria, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Dairy Milk Production Manager. In this critical role, you will take full ownership of our dairy milk production operations, driving efficiency, maintaining strict quality assurance, and leading a dedicated team of production professionals to achieve our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Independently manage and oversee the entire dairy milk production line from raw material intake to final packaging.
- Organize and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production activities in alignment with established company targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local and international food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
- Monitor production workflows to identify bottlenecks, minimize waste, and continuously improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team for prompt servicing and repairs.
- Train, mentor, and supervise plant operators and floor staff to foster a culture of safety and high performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production outputs, downtime, resource utilization, and inventory levels.
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in dairy milk production processes and industrial beverage workflows.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dairy pasteurization, homogenization, sterilization, and aseptic packaging techniques.
- Proven ability to lead production teams, solve complex technical problems, and work independently under pressure.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and ISO quality management systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills suited for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
