About the Role
ABNL Limited, a 100% indigenous Oil and Gas servicing company established in 1992, is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician III to join our Operations team. With over three decades of experience providing professional engineering and technical services across Nigeria and West Africa, we are looking for a dedicated technician to support our commitment to operational excellence and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Execute field electrical maintenance work and perform electrical isolation procedures (LOTO) for lighting, air conditioning, and motor maintenance systems
- Plan and implement scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimize production impact and maximize operational availability
- Coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors to ensure efficient project execution
- Ensure compliance with Management of Change (MOC) requirements for all plant modifications
- Apply technical expertise to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain and promote high SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) standards across all operations
- Utilize Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe practices
- Participate actively in waste management initiatives and daily operations meetings
- Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry
- Strong communication skills with ability to document field conditions and recommend solutions
- Excellent teamwork abilities and willingness to collaborate across departments
- Capability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
