About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous, proactive, and responsible Operations/Control Officer to support the effective coordination, monitoring, and control of our daily business operations in Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding our operational integrity by monitoring activities, ensuring strict compliance with company procedures, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating across departments to guarantee seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily operational activities to ensure full compliance with company policies and established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conduct routine checks on business processes, inventory handling, stock movement, and operational documentation.
- Identify, document, and report operational discrepancies, irregularities, and internal control issues promptly.
- Perform regular reconciliations and detailed checks to detect and resolve errors efficiently.
- Prepare and submit accurate, timely operational and control reports to management.
- Follow up on identified bottlenecks and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are fully implemented.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Warehouse, Sales, and other internal departments to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal controls and recommend practical solutions for recurring challenges.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant professional work experience in operations, auditing, or internal control is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of general business operations, compliance frameworks, and internal control systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to spot discrepancies and analyze data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced capability in Microsoft Excel.
