About the Role
Ángeles Sostenibles is a pan-African impact investment and advisory firm connecting climate policy, capital, and implementation across Sub-Saharan Africa. We help governments, investors, and businesses turn sustainability commitments into investment-ready projects and measurable impact. As our Operations Associate based in Abuja, you will work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team to transform climate finance opportunities into successful engagements, combining live project delivery with independent analysis and client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate work plans, deadlines, and deliverables across concurrent engagements.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and risks while proactively flagging issues early.
- Manage client and partner meetings, follow-up communications, and comprehensive project documentation.
- Build robust climate investment models and conduct thorough feasibility analyses.
- Test project economics, delivery risks, and ESG claims through rigorous due diligence.
- Research prospects, track market opportunities, and support the development of proposals and concept notes.
- 4 to 8 years of professional experience in project delivery, finance, or sustainability consulting.
- Proven expertise in climate investment modeling, financial modeling, and feasibility analysis.
- Strong background in project due diligence, encompassing economics, delivery risk, and ESG claims.
- Demonstrated skills in engagement planning, budget tracking, and risk management.
- Excellent client-ready writing, presentation, and proposal-writing capabilities.
- Familiarity with climate finance and policy analysis, business development, and lead qualification.
- Relevant university degree in a related field.
- Significant room to take on broader responsibilities as the firm's portfolio and project pipeline scale.
- Direct exposure to a small, multidisciplinary team working across critical sustainability sectors.
