About the Role
Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, a prominent independent Nigerian energy firm, is looking for skilled professionals to join our operations team. As an Operations and Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in executing safe, efficient, and reliable production operations and first-line maintenance activities across our onshore, swamp, and offshore facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate oil and gas facilities, wells, and associated assets safely in accordance with approved operating procedures and HSSE standards.
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective first-line maintenance on plant equipment to minimize downtime.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify equipment and process faults.
- Monitor plant performance, collect field data, and accurately report production volumes.
- Ensure all work adheres strictly to Permit-to-Work requirements and safety guidelines.
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND/ND), Advanced Technical Diploma, or trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical maintenance and field operations experience in the energy or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices, root-cause analysis, and HSSE standards.
- Demonstrated readiness to work on a 21-days-on/21-days-off rotational schedule in field locations.
