About the Role
First Bank of Nigeria Limited is seeking a dynamic and analytical Operational Risk Relationship Manager to join our esteemed risk management team in Lagos. In this role, you will assist the Head of Operational Risk Management (ORM) in coordinating, driving, and directing effective risk mitigation activities across the bank, focusing on relevant Strategic Business Units.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain the operational risk framework in close coordination with Business Operational Risk Managers (BORMs).
- Carry out timely monthly reconciliations of the operational risk loss database and general ledger.
- Support the operational risk community in conducting risk identification workshops, RCSA analysis, and incident analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive bank-wide operational risk profiles, reports, and internal loss trend analyses.
- Facilitate basic ORM training for new hires and provide guidance on risk grading matrices.
- First degree in a numerate discipline; higher degrees or professional certifications are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in banking operations or risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of core banking processes, CBN prudential guidelines, and corporate governance.
