We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Supervisor specializing in Inventory Control and Loss Prevention to join our expanding team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee daily operations, optimize stock levels, drive sales performance, and implement robust loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and ensure seamless store execution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage comprehensive inventory levels through rigorous regular audits and precise cycle counts to guarantee data accuracy.
- Develop and implement advanced inventory control processes and proactive loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.
- Execute strategic business initiatives and marketing activities designed to boost sales and support overall store expansion.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets established by the Executive Management Team.
- Accurately reconcile daily sales figures with Point of Sale (POS) and store records.
- Collaborate effectively with logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth supply chain flow.
- Investigate stock discrepancies thoroughly, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Generate detailed monthly reports regarding inventory status, stock losses, and operational performance metrics.
- Analyze sales and inventory data to identify fast-moving stock, maintain optimal stock levels, and inform business decisions.
- Ensure full compliance with internal company policies and relevant legal regulatory frameworks.
- Liaise professionally with mall management to maintain uninterrupted store operations and compliance with property standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven professional experience in retail operations, inventory management, or store supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory control frameworks, loss prevention techniques, and retail sales analytics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, with advanced capability in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
