About the Role
DP World is a leading global supply chain enabler, dedicated to making trade flow better and changing what is possible for our customers and communities worldwide. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Controller - Inventory (Gas) to join our operations in Ibadan, Nigeria. In this role, you will oversee and manage gas inventory, ensure accurate stock levels, minimize losses, and optimize resource utilization to support our dynamic logistics infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day diesel dump operations and supervise gas dispensing officers.
- Perform daily reconciliation of gas usage and conduct physical dips to ascertain precise quantities.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly reports on gas collection, utilization, and inventory status.
- Ensure bi-weekly calibration of dispensing meters to maintain operational accuracy and good working order.
- Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) promptly after every delivery.
- Estimate monthly gas utilization to prevent shortages or excessive surplus.
- Monitor daily gas capture via probes for trucks and stationary tanks, ensuring accuracy and tolerance levels.
- Collaborate with technical support and Fleet Controllers to quickly resolve probe-related issues.
- Approve gas transactions on Imanager and handle daily exports with preloading reports.
- Raise daily gas issuances on Instanta and SAP, performing weekly reconciliations across SAP, Instanta, and physical stock.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in inventory management and planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
