About the Role
IOTA Group is seeking an experienced Onshore Planning & Reporting Engineer to join our Nigeria office. As a trusted HR and project management partner with 27 years of excellence, we deliver customized human resource solutions and technical expertise to the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. You will be instrumental in ensuring project success through meticulous planning, accurate progress monitoring, and comprehensive reporting that enables informed decision-making across all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules across multiple levels (WBS structure, milestones, and interfaces)
- Consolidate schedules from diverse disciplines and external contractors into a unified timeline
- Identify critical paths, assess float values, and proactively manage delay risks
- Collect and analyze actual physical progress data on a weekly basis
- Update forecasts and identify schedule variances with root cause analysis
- Prepare comprehensive periodic reports detailing planning progress, key milestones, and performance indicators (KPIs)
- Provide integrated reporting inputs to project management, partners, and leadership
- Collaborate with Project Control, Cost Control, technical teams, EPC contractors, and project management
- Apply and continuously improve planning procedures, standards, and tools
- Proven experience with multi-disciplinary oil and gas project execution
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
- Strong expertise in Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools
- Excellent analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Demonstrated proactivity and constructive critical thinking
- Strong communication and coordination skills
