About the Role
Royal Roots Communication Network (R2TV and R2 92.9 FM) is looking for a talented and charismatic On Air Ambassador to join our expanding media entertainment team in Ibadan. In this exciting role, you will be the voice and face of our brand, engaging listeners and viewers with captivating on-air presence, compelling storytelling, and dynamic content delivery across our television and radio platforms. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, entertaining, and informative broadcasts on R2 92.9 FM and R2TV (GOtv Channel 145).
- Conduct compelling interviews with guests, industry experts, celebrities, and public figures.
- Develop creative show concepts, scripts, and daily program outlines in alignment with station guidelines.
- Interact actively with the audience via phone calls, social media, and live events to boost station ratings and listener loyalty.
- Collaborate with the production, marketing, and editorial teams to execute seamless live and pre-recorded broadcasts.
- Represent Royal Roots Communication Network professionally at external events, activations, and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) standards and station editorial policies at all times.
- Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, English, Theatre Arts, or a related field.
- Proven previous experience as an On-Air Personality, Broadcaster, Presenter, or Brand Ambassador in the Nigerian media industry.
- Exceptional verbal communication, public speaking, and improvisational skills with a clear, engaging voice.
- Strong working knowledge of modern broadcasting software, audio equipment, and social media integration.
- High level of creativity, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced live media environment.
- Must be based in Ibadan or willing to relocate.
