About the Role
Scruples Resources, a premier provider of consultancy, resource development, and human resource solutions for the Nigerian economy, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Oilfield Drilling and Completion Project Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of high-value energy projects across multiple product lines, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across multiple product lines in the oil and gas sector.
- Manage critical client relationships and ensure all contractual commitments and key performance indicators are achieved.
- Drive project performance through proactive risk management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee financial performance, including project revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow management.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams to deliver operations safely, efficiently, and strictly on schedule.
- Manage detailed project schedules, resource planning, operational readiness reviews, and contingency plans.
- Ensure uncompromising compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, company standards, and client specifications.
- Lead thorough project reviews, performance reporting, post-job lessons learned, and strategic improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with commercial and sales teams to support ongoing business development and growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Substantial professional experience in the energy industry, specifically covering drilling, completions, well intervention, or plugging and abandonment (P&A) operations.
- Extensive and proven experience managing complex operational projects within the oilfield sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of drilling and completions activities and associated oilfield equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing project financial performance, budgeting, and mitigating commercial risks.
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent operations and lead cross-functional technical teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; certification or experience in Microsoft Project is a distinct advantage.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent industry certification is preferred.
- Valid Well Control awareness or certification will be considered an added advantage.
