About the Role
Habrams Energy is seeking a talented and experienced Geophysicist III to join our dynamic technical team in Nigeria. Our ongoing success is built on seamless collaboration and a can-do approach, empowering our passionate professionals to deliver outstanding results. In this pivotal role, you will support and enhance 2D and 3D seismic as well as wellbore seismic acquisition programmes, partnering closely with operating teams, technical specialists, and external vendors to drive safe and effective energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Apply advanced post-stack and pre-stack seismic inversion and Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) techniques.
- Perform detailed seismic attribute analysis to accurately interpret structural features, depositional environments, and facies.
- Utilize advanced geophysical knowledge specifically tailored for carbonate reservoirs and unconventional plays.
- Support comprehensive seismic acquisition, data processing, and geological interpretation activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize subsurface evaluations and align with corporate objectives.
- Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Geotechnical, Geophysical, or related petroleum geosciences disciplines.
- Demonstrated professional experience in geophysics within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong geological and geophysical interpretation capabilities with proven analytical skills.
- Advanced petrophysical analysis proficiency in siliciclastic settings.
- High proficiency in Petrel and industry-standard geoscience computing applications.
- Experience in interpreting gravity and magnetic data alongside strong structural and petroleum geology knowledge.
