About the Role

Pan-Afrique Maritime Limited is a wholly indigenous Nigerian company duly registered to deliver exceptional maritime services, including manning, crewing, ship management, and logistics, while proudly protecting the interests of indigenous seafarers in compliance with NIMASA regulations. We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Oiler to join our growing offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer with the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of all engine room machinery and equipment.
  • Perform routine lubrication, greasing, and oiling of shipboard moving parts, auxiliary engines, and deck machinery.
  • Monitor the performance of engines, pumps, and generators, promptly reporting any anomalies or potential failures to the engineering watch.
  • Maintain cleanliness and high safety standards in the engine room, workshops, and bilges in compliance with international maritime regulations.
  • Participate in emergency drills, bunkering operations, and safety meetings as directed by senior engineering officers.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months of rank and offshore vessel experience.
  • Valid STCW III/5 certification (Rating Forming Part of an Engineering Watch or Able Seafarer-Engine).
  • Up-to-date mandatory maritime safety documents, medical certificates, and NIMASA documentation.
  • Strong commitment to marine safety, environmental protection, and teamwork in a challenging offshore environment.
