About the Role

Evidence Action scales evidence-based programs with sustainable business models to benefit millions of people globally. In Nigeria, we lead high-impact initiatives including Dispensers for Safe Water and the Deworm the World Initiative. We are currently seeking a dedicated Officer, Administration and Logistics to ensure the seamless day-to-day functioning of our Abuja Country Office through effective coordination, planning, and operational support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced non-profit environment and report directly to the Associate, Office Administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support comprehensive travel arrangements for staff, partners, and consultants, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
  • Manage day-to-day FCT office operations, including inventory tracking, office supplies, consumables, and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor and coordinate office utilities, facility repairs, servicing of equipment, and workstation allocations.
  • Conduct asset management tasks such as asset tagging, tracking, and maintaining updated inventory registers.
  • Assist with petty cash administration, financial retirements, and maintaining accurate documentation for audit readiness.
  • Maintain routine administrative trackers for fleet management, fuel consumption, and office supplies.
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and service providers to resolve logistical needs promptly.

Qualifications
  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or any related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of professional work experience in administrative, logistics, or operations roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment like printers and scanners.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing tasks, and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
