About the Role
Recare is a leading personal style company founded in 1997, driven by plant-based chemistry to help Africans live beautifully. As the proud parent brand behind renowned names like Natures Gentle Touch, Nonstop, and Hairsavvy, we specialize in innovative hair care, skincare, cosmetics, and personal care solutions. We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented NYSC Corp Member with a solid accounting background to support our dynamic Finance and Accounts department. This role offers an excellent platform to gain practical, hands-on experience in corporate finance while contributing to the financial operations of an established beauty and personal care industry leader in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support the processing of payments and perform routine bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, basic analysis, and management accounts.
- Ensure strict adherence to company financial policies, internal controls, and statutory compliance.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department and manage confidential data with utmost integrity.
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Current NYSC Corp Member currently serving or deployed to Lagos.
- Foundational knowledge of core accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall digital literacy.
- Prior working knowledge of ERP systems, QuickBooks, or Sage is an added advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high professional integrity.
