About the Role
Harvest Feed & Agro Processing Limited specializes in transforming cassava into high-quality products like Venus Cassava edible starch and offals for the food and agricultural sectors. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Financial Manager to lead our financial operations, optimize cost management, and ensure long-term fiscal stability.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee comprehensive financial and accounting operations, including manufacturing cost accounting and inventory costing.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely manner.
- Develop, monitor, and manage corporate budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Coordinate both internal and external audits while strengthening internal financial controls.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide the internal accounting team to peak performance.
- Provide actionable financial advice and strategic recommendations to executive management.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with a strong preference for manufacturing or agro-processing backgrounds.
- Professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACA, or ACCA is a strong advantage.
- Proven expertise in manufacturing accounts, product costing, and financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
