We are currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dynamic Nursing Officer to join our Out-Patient and Accident & Emergency (A&E) nursing units. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional ambulatory and urgent clinical care, ensuring that every patient receives safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered treatment in alignment with global best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for patients within the out-patient and A&E streams.
  • Administer medications and therapeutic treatments accurately and safely within your authorized scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical records while adhering strictly to infection-prevention and clinical-governance standards.
  • Triage incoming patients, accurately record vital signs, and prepare examination rooms efficiently ahead of physician consultations.
  • Manage specialized injection, dressing, and minor-procedure clinics while delivering impactful point-of-care health education.
  • Coordinate same-day patient referrals and ensure smooth, safe discharges from the clinic environment.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support effective managed-care processes.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Registered Nurse (RN) qualification from an accredited School of Nursing, or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing) from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 1 year of post-registration clinical experience with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN); exceptional newly registered nurses may be considered.
  • Valid NMCN practicing licence and active compliance with mandatory continuing professional development (MCPDP) guidelines.
  • Strong competencies in patient assessment, care planning, clinical record-keeping, and safe medication administration.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for interacting effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
