About the Role

Dragnet Solutions is looking for a passionate and skilled Nursing Officer to join our healthcare team in Lagos. In this dynamic role, you will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care across both out-patient and in-patient settings, ensuring the highest standards of patient management and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for all patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately within your professional scope of practice.
  • Maintain accurate nursing records while applying strict infection-prevention and clinical-governance standards.
  • Triage patients, record vital signs, and prepare consultation rooms for out-patient clinics.
  • Manage injection, dressing, and minor-procedure clinics while delivering point-of-care health education.
  • Deliver bedside nursing care during shifts, including medication rounds, IV therapy, and fluid-balance charting.
  • Monitor patient vital signs closely and escalate deteriorating conditions promptly.
  • Lead patient admission and discharge processes while participating effectively in shift handovers.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification from an accredited School of Nursing, or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing).
  • Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) registration and current license with MCPDP compliance.
  • Successful completion of NYSC or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-registration nursing experience, though exceptional newly registered nurses may be considered.
  • Strong competence in patient assessment, care planning, and safe medication administration.
