About the Role
Dragnet Solutions is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (OBGYN) to join our esteemed healthcare network in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive specialist care across the complete patient pathway, driving excellence in women's health through accurate diagnoses, effective treatments, and compassionate patient management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients in obstetrics and gynaecology, handling complex cases and acting as a senior referral point.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the continuous training and professional development of junior medical officers and trainees.
- Contribute actively to clinical governance, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and strict patient-safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics, and HMO functions, to deliver evidence-based care.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and hold a valid, current MDCN registration and practicing license.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution with completed housemanship/internship and NYSC (or valid exemption).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship specialist experience in obstetrics and gynaecology with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
- Comprehensive specialist knowledge of acute and chronic presentations alongside strong clinical governance understanding.
- Effective communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- Preferred: Additional sub-specialty training, relevant certifications, or active membership in recognized specialty associations.
