Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients within the Anaesthesia department before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed by the medical team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and nursing notes.
  • Collaborate effectively with doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and hospital policies.
  • Utilize hospital ICT systems for patient management and administrative duties.
Qualifications
  • Possess a Nigerian Registered Nurse (NRN) or Nigerian Registered Midwife (NRM) certificate from a recognized institution.
  • Must have current registration and a valid practicing license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  • An additional qualification or certification in anaesthetic nursing or a relevant specialty will be a distinct advantage.
