Emprum British Academy is a prestigious co-educational citadel of learning founded in 2017, located at No. 5 Harmony Close off Oro-Ekpo, Ada-George Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Grounded in godly principles, we are currently seeking a dedicated, creative, and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join our esteemed team and help shape the future of our young learners.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood education best practices.
- Facilitate the cognitive, social, and emotional development of nursery pupils through interactive play and structured learning.
- Apply sound knowledge of phonics to build strong foundational reading and communication skills in young children.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
- Manage classroom behavior proactively using positive reinforcement and excellent classroom management skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, communicating regularly and professionally with parents regarding child development.
- Integrate godly principles and moral values into daily classroom routines and school activities.
- Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, or a relevant teaching qualification.
- Proven prior experience in Nursery or Primary education is a distinct advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of phonics and modern early childhood education methodologies.
- Familiarity with both the British and Nigerian educational curricula is an added advantage.
