Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English Language lessons aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Prepare senior secondary students thoroughly for external examinations, including UTME (JAMB), WAEC (SSCE), and NECO.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous academic improvement.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning and active student participation.
- Design and administer periodic tests, quizzes, and assignments in line with national examination standards.
- Provide individualized support and remedial coaching for students who require additional help in mastering English language concepts.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in English Studies, Education (English), or a closely related field.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience, specifically preparing senior secondary students for WAEC, NECO, and UTME.
- Exceptional command of the English language with outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management abilities with a student-centered approach to teaching.
- Familiarity with modern educational technology and interactive teaching methodologies.
- A valid teaching certification or registration with TRCN is an added advantage.
