Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and child-friendly learning environment for all pupils.
  • Effectively manage classroom activities and maintain positive discipline.
  • Assess pupils' academic progress and provide targeted support.
  • Prepare comprehensive lesson notes, teaching aids, and instructional materials.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and academic records.
  • Promote pupils' holistic development including intellectual, emotional, social, and moral growth.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, school events, and continuous professional training programmes.
  • Communicate professionally and regularly with parents regarding student progress.
  • Perform other teaching-related duties as assigned by the school management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum qualification of an ND, HND, or B.Sc. in Education or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of proven teaching experience in a Nursery or Primary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Patient, caring, and deeply passionate about working with young children.
  • High level of moral character, integrity, and a professional attitude.
  • Teachable, adaptable, and eager to learn new pedagogical approaches.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership.
