Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate daily lessons aligned with the early childhood curriculum.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
- Monitor, assess, and record individual student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and school management.
- Maintain comprehensive records of attendance, lesson plans, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and proper hygiene of all children under your care at all times.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and gentle guidance techniques.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, or B.Sc in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience working with nursery or kindergarten children in a recognized school.
- Strong passion for child development and early years pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a warm, approachable demeanor suitable for young learners.
- Residency in Ibadan or willingness to commute to the school location regularly.
