About the Role

Olam Agri is a market-leading, differentiated food, feed, and fiber agri-business with a global footprint and deep roots in high-growth emerging markets. We are currently looking for a results-driven Non-Commodity Procurement Manager to join our corporate function within the Integrated Feed & Protein business. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end procurement of indirect goods and services, ensuring exceptional cost optimization, strict compliance, supplier performance, and sustainable sourcing practices across our operations in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement costs within approved budgets and deliver significant cost optimization through benchmarking and strategic negotiations.
  • Ensure the high quality and timely availability of critical engineering spares, industrial services, and logistics.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and drive sustainability practices across non-commodity procurement categories.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement operations, support infrastructure projects, and optimize overall resource utilization.
  • Drive supplier performance by implementing robust KPIs, SLAs, and mutually beneficial strategic partnerships.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks proactively through contingency sourcing and effective demand forecasting.
  • Leverage ERP systems and modern digital procurement tools to improve operational transparency and efficiency.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • An MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Finance is strongly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM will be considered a distinct advantage.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant end-to-end procurement experience within manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, or multinational environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in indirect procurement, Capex, engineering spares, freight, and service contracts.
  • Strong command of strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, supplier relationship management, and ERP systems.
