About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head, Procurement & Vendor Management. In this executive leadership role, you will spearhead our procurement and vendor management strategy, ensuring the delivery of cost-effective, compliant, and value-driven sourcing solutions that align with our overarching business objectives across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute the organization's comprehensive procurement and vendor management strategy.
- Oversee procurement planning, strategic sourcing, contract management, and vendor governance.
- Manage end-to-end supplier onboarding, due diligence, competitive bidding, and complex contract negotiations.
- Ensure stringent supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and adherence to regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders to deliver strategic insights and continuous process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Procurement and Vendor Management team to achieve operational excellence.
- First Degree in Procurement, Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, and procurement operations within a regulated industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier risk management, audit controls, and third-party compliance.
- Hands-on proficiency utilizing SAP or other advanced procure-to-pay systems.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
