About the Role
YellowDoor Hotels is a premier boutique hotel chain located in Abuja, Nigeria, offering upscale accommodations and exceptional dining at our signature restaurant and bar, The Living Room. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Manager to lead our overnight operations. In this on-site role working from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM, you will take full ownership of the property during the night shift, ensuring seamless guest experiences, staff accountability, rigorous security, and accurate financial reporting across both the hotel and restaurant facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all hotel and restaurant operations from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM nightly
- Supervise 3 to 10 night-shift staff members across the front office, restaurant, and security teams
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and handle emergency situations with sound judgment
- Perform accurate end-of-shift financial reconciliation and night audits with zero cash discrepancies
- Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections of guest areas, back-of-house, and premises
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports and conduct a seamless handover to morning management
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in hotel operations, night auditing, or overnight shift management
- Demonstrated expertise in front office operations and Property Management Systems (PMS)
- Strong background in cash handling, financial reconciliation, and F&B shift oversight
- Proven ability to supervise staff, monitor performance, and enforce company policies
- Excellent problem-solving and de-escalation skills for effective guest complaint resolution
- Emergency response and incident logging experience will be an added advantage
- Competitive salary range of ₦250,000 to ₦300,000 monthly
