About the Role
Mariston Hotel & Suites is a premier, upscale hospitality establishment strategically positioned along Adeolu Williams Avenue, NTA Road (off Airport Road) in Oba-Ile, Akure North, Ondo State, Nigeria. Operating under the banner of Hospitality At Its Finest, we are currently seeking a dynamic and vigilant Night Duty Manager / Supervisor to oversee our overnight operations. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and guaranteeing safety and security throughout the night shift.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all front office, housekeeping, and security operations during the night shift to ensure seamless hotel functionality.
- Manage night audit procedures, reconciling daily transactions, revenues, and departmental reports accurately.
- Handle VIP check-ins, guest inquiries, and resolve any escalated complaints or emergencies professionally and promptly.
- Conduct regular security patrols across the hotel premises to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Supervise night-shift staff, providing guidance, motivation, and support as needed.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Night Manager, Front Office Supervisor, or in a similar hospitality leadership role.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and basic accounting.
- Ability to work night shifts consistently and remain calm under pressure.
