About the Role
One Acre Fund is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to supplying smallholder farmers with asset-based financing and agricultural training services to reduce hunger and poverty. We are looking for an innovative Nigeria Tech Specialist to drive the end-to-end technical delivery of our impactful field and internal digital solutions, leveraging approved AI coding tools and development agents to accelerate architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain scalable mobile, web, backend, and data solutions supporting online and offline use workflows.
- Contribute to technical architecture, secure data models, robust APIs, and seamless system integrations.
- Utilize approved AI-assisted engineering tools to optimize delivery speed, code quality, and maintainability.
- Implement secure software development practices, automated testing, continuous deployment, and reliable performance monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional technical solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including 3 years delivering production full-stack applications.
- Advanced expertise in mobile (Flutter, React Native, Kotlin), web (React, Next.js), and backend (Node.js, Python, Go) development.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated testing frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to safely and productively leverage AI coding tools to enhance engineering productivity.
