About the Role

WTS Energy is a leading global manpower supply and consulting company to the international oil, gas, and energy industries. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated ASNT Certified NDT Level II Technician to join our prestigious operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and compliance of critical assets within a fast-paced fabrication yard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform non-destructive examinations on fabricated components, piping, structural assemblies, and pressure vessels using approved procedures.
  • Conduct inspections utilizing VT, PT, MT, UT, and RT techniques while evaluating indications against strict industry acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports, maintain weld traceability, and ensure thorough documentation for quality control and client review.
  • Collaborate closely with welding inspectors, QC personnel, and project engineers to monitor weld repairs and enforce high quality standards.
  • Ensure all testing activities strictly comply with ASME, API, AWS, ISO standards, and project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

Qualifications
  • Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Engineering, Science, Metallurgy, Welding Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Valid ASNT NDT Level II certification (UT, MT, PT, VT, and preferably RT) in accordance with SNT-TC-1A.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant NDT inspection experience within the oil and gas, petrochemical, marine, or heavy fabrication sectors.
  • Strong practical knowledge of welding processes, common fabrication materials, and international codes and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, report-writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with third-party inspectors.
