Manchester International School, a prestigious private British-Nigerian curriculum institution located in Area A, World Bank, Owerri, Imo State, is recruiting a professional Nanny to join our caring team. We are seeking a dedicated individual who shares our commitment to holistic child development, emphasizing critical thinking, practical exploration, and character building in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive, nurturing care for infants and toddlers throughout the school day
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and developmentally stimulating environment
- Support children's emotional, physical, and social development
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress and well-being
- Assist with feeding, bathing, and personal hygiene routines
- Monitor children's health and respond appropriately to their needs
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures consistently
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience caring for infants and toddlers
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and trustworthiness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to hygiene and safety standards
- First Aid certification (highly advantageous)
- Valid references from previous childcare positions
