About the Role
Prime Montessori Nursery and Primary School (PMS) is dedicated to arresting the falling standard in the educational sector and providing qualitative, balanced education to children across Nigeria and the ECOWAS sub-region. We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join our vibrant academic community and inspire our young learners through the power of music.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to nursery and primary school students in alignment with the school curriculum.
- Teach fundamental music theory, vocal techniques, and practical instrument training.
- Organize and direct school choirs, musical performances, and special events for school ceremonies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual musical growth.
- Maintain and care for all school musical instruments and equipment in a safe learning environment.
- Bachelor Degree in Music or Music Education from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience, preferably with young children in a structured school setting.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and proficiency in playing various musical instruments.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a dynamic classroom environment.
- Must reside around or be able to conveniently commute to Amuwo Odofin LGA or Oriade LCDA in Lagos State.
