About the Role
Resurgir Consulting is partnering with a reputable educational institution to recruit a passionate and qualified English Language Teacher. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' academic journeys by fostering a deep appreciation for language and literature while preparing them for crucial senior secondary examinations.
Key Responsibilities- Teach English Language to Senior Secondary 2 (SS 2) and Senior Secondary 3 (SS 3) students with dynamic instructional methods.
- Deliver comprehensive lessons in Literature in English to SS 3 students, encouraging critical analysis of texts.
- Develop students' grammar, comprehension, writing, speaking, and analytical capabilities.
- Assess academic progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Prepare students thoroughly for both internal assessments and external examinations.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and highly engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Minimum of HND or BSc in English, English Education, Literature, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven teaching experience at the secondary school level.
- Demonstrated mastery of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for English and Literature.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with impeccable spoken English.
