Twinkly Tots, a premier private early childhood institution established in 2017, is seeking a warm, engaging, and skilled Music Instructor to introduce young children to the fundamentals of music and keyboard playing. Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate keyboard lessons tailored for young children.
- Introduce basic musical concepts such as rhythm, beats, sounds, notes, and simple melodies.
- Utilize fun teaching methods including singing, movement, and rhythm games to maintain high engagement.
- Adapt lesson plans to suit individual learning abilities, confidence levels, and developmental stages.
- Prepare simple termly outlines of learning objectives and monitor student progress.
- Prepare children for informal performances, showcases, and school presentations.
- Strictly adhere to all child safeguarding, health, safety, and professional conduct policies.
- Collaborate effectively with the broader school teaching team and management.
- Demonstrable competence and proficiency in playing the keyboard.
- Previous experience teaching music and keyboard lessons to young learners.
- Deep understanding of early childhood development and effective engagement strategies.
- Patience, warmth, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and reliability traits.
- Formal music qualifications or certifications are an added advantage.
