About the Role
The Leadup Foundation for Sustainable Growth and Development is a dynamic youth-first, technology-enabled hybrid social enterprise and research organization based in Abuja, Nigeria. We are dedicated to improving health, education, and climate resilience for underserved communities. We are currently seeking a passionate and analytical Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Officer to join our innovative team and help us measure, evaluate, and scale our social impact.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement robust monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning frameworks for all organizational projects and programs.
- Collect, verify, analyze, and manage quantitative and qualitative data to track key performance indicators and project milestones.
- Conduct regular field visits and data quality assessments to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to project guidelines.
- Collaborate with program teams to author comprehensive periodic reports, impact stories, and knowledge-sharing documents.
- Facilitate learning sessions, evaluations, and research studies to capture lessons learned and inform future strategic planning.
- Utilize technology-enabled data collection and analysis tools to streamline MERL processes across hybrid work environments.
- Bachelor degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven professional experience in MERL roles, preferably within the development or social enterprise sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data collection and analysis software such as KoboToolbox, ODK, SPSS, STATA, R, or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, survey design, and data management.
- Exceptional report-writing, analytical, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
