About the Role
Pioneers Reproductive Health and Youth Association (PREHYA) is seeking a dedicated and analytical Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEAL) Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in tracking project performance, ensuring data integrity, and fostering a culture of continuous learning across our health, WASH, youth empowerment, and protection initiatives. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain robust project monitoring tools, frameworks, and databases to track progress effectively.
- Collect, verify, analyze, and report comprehensive project data while tracking indicators against established targets.
- Conduct routine field monitoring visits to project locations to ensure quality implementation.
- Support baseline assessments, mid-term surveys, and final program evaluations.
- Manage beneficiary feedback and complaint mechanisms to uphold accountability standards.
- Ensure stringent data quality control and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Produce accurate monthly monitoring reports, summaries, and visual dashboards.
- Facilitate team learning, reflection sessions, and knowledge-sharing workshops.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Monitoring and Evaluation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in MEAL roles within humanitarian or development sectors.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data collection and visualization tools such as Kobo Collect, ODK, Excel, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and exceptional report-writing skills.
- Prior experience working on donor-funded projects, with preference given to ECHO-funded initiatives.
- Commitment to humanitarian principles, safeguarding policies, and gender equity.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) with the willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
