About the Role
Malaria Consortium is seeking a dedicated and experienced Coordinator for Kogi State to oversee critical household surveys supporting the 2026 insecticide-treated net (ITN) mass distribution campaign. In partnership with the National Malaria Elimination Programme, this role plays a vital part in generating evidence to inform vector control policies and improve health outcomes across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee four household interview teams across assigned wards in Kogi State.
- Coordinate pre-survey training, community sensitisation with local leaders, and the selection of household mobilisers.
- Oversee household enumeration and ensure accurate data collection and mobile upload using SurveyCTO software.
- Resolve operational challenges reported by team leaders and manage back-checks to verify data integrity.
- Ensure timely payment of household mobilisers and submit comprehensive activity reports detailing achievements and challenges.
- Report directly to the M&E Manager and overall survey coordinator.
- Post-graduate degree in Health Sciences or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in coordinating household surveys and quantitative studies.
- Demonstrated excellence in report writing and data verification.
- Proficiency in local languages such as Igala, Ebira, and/or Yoruba is strongly preferred.
