About the Role
Malaria Consortium is recruiting a dedicated Coordinator to oversee household surveys for the upcoming 2026 insecticide-treated net (ITN) mass distribution campaign in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Working in collaboration with the National Malaria Elimination Programme, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the implementation and impact of dual-active-ingredient ITNs to shape future vector control policies in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage four household interview teams across assigned wards in the FCT.
- Attend all mandatory pre-survey training sessions and ensure team readiness.
- Visit assigned wards prior to interviews to sensitize community leaders and select household mobilisers.
- Coordinate household enumeration and oversee the submission of household lists for remote sampling via SurveyCTO.
- Resolve field issues promptly and report directly to the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager.
- Ensure timely payment of household mobilisers and accurate data collection and uploading.
- Write comprehensive field reports detailing activities, achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Post-graduate degree in Health Sciences or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in coordinating household surveys and quantitative studies.
- Demonstrated excellence in technical report writing for public health research.
- Strong proficiency in English, alongside good knowledge of Hausa and/or Gbagyi languages.
